Our Philosophy
and Our Mission
Meaningful change begins with meaningful relationships. Lagniappe Music Therapy’s approach is grounded in humanistic music therapy, where every client is treated with compassion, respect, and individualized care.
Treatment plans are created that focus on functional, measurable goals using evidence-based music interventions informed by how the brain processes music. Whether addressing communication, motor skills, cognition, emotional regulation, or social interaction, Lagniappe Music Therapy’s priority is informing clients how to develop skills that extend beyond the therapy session.
Lagniappe Music Therapy believes music therapy should have a lasting impact. Every session is designed to promote meaningful progress and equip clients with functional skills they can integrate into their daily lives, empowering them to reach their fullest potential.
